Participants will acquire a good understanding of well production mechanisms and a general knowledge of most common artificial lift types.
Well production mechanisms are one of the most important things to understand when working at opitimizing your wells. Whatever if your well is in natural flow or if it uses artificial lift, mastering the concepts of inflow and outflow will allow you to understand any well behavior and optimize it.
Our course is designed to train professionals in the full range of skills related to oil and gas production including a comprehensive and practical knowledge of Nodal Analysis principles.
Indeed, this class starts by the 2 courses ‘Nodal Analysis – Well Inflow’ and ‘Nodal Analysis – Well Outflow’. Hence, it gives all the required knowledge regarding those two mechanisms. In the 3rd and last course of this bundle, student will be introduced to the 5 most common forms of artificial lift (gas lift, PCP, ESP, SRP, and jet and hydraulic pumping).
Participants will gain the necessary knowledge to become efficient petroleum engineers who can drive higher production rates for their company. This course aims to ensure that students have the necessary skills to get better performance from their oil and gas wells, no matter the type or size of the organization they work for.

This bundles 3 great courses about well performance. It covers the basics of the overall subject. The courses will start on well inflow mechanisms, continue with well outflow and end with artificial lift considerations. You will get the most of it if you write down notes as a school lessons and make the effort to solve yourselves the examples. It is pretty easy to follow as the instructor points the reasonning path on pictures. Provided that, you will get a broad understanding of the subject. Hence you will the progress by yourself to be ready for an entry level working ability.
Very helpful for people without a production or petroleum engineering background
Being assigned a gas lift project at work i found the course very helpful and the Nodal Analysis gave me a deeper understanding of the information and variables that I had used to already specify and install two gas lift systems in the Permian basin. The Well Outflow portion is very helpful in gaining insight into all the factors that can come into play when producing a well.
I look forward to taking more courses and will tell others about these courses when they need some training.
